THE DESIGN “STUFF”
The IMPOSSIBLE is an every day event MIRACLES can take a little longer.
1) From the model generated, a concept is formed and an initial technical specification is built up. This basically will describe in technical terms what it is that’s being designed.
2) Next, three things happen at the same time:-
Electronics circuits are designed.
Any firmware and / or software is written.
A prototype enclosure model is made.
3) Each of these three items are tested individually as a first step to be certain they meet the specification. Once this is accomplished they are integrated into one package and undergo further testing.
4) At this point we have a first prototype device, this is then shown to the client for comments and possible changes. This loop is repeated until the prototype is doing EXACTLY what is required of it.
5) Next step, depending upon the needs of the client, is to build a series of up 10 extra prototypes for testing, evaluation and certification. Details of the certification process is available on request to clients.
6) At the end of this process all drawings, notes, documents etc. are handed over to the client. We retain copies and one or two prototypes for a period of three months in order to clear up any outstanding issues.
